Scheltema Trailer offers a variety of double drop deck trailers; fixed gooseneck, removable gooseneck, and extendable decks, to name a few of the options available. Scheltema Trailer’s carrying capacities range from 40-50 ton. Manufacturing all double drop decks from T-1 steel, Scheltema is able to maximize the strength and longevity of our trailers. Double Drop Deck Specification

Fixed Gooseneck includes:

  • Single king pin location.
  • 51″ Fifth Wheel height.
  • 1-5/16” Apitong floor.
  • Constructed from 100,000 P.S.I. yield (T-1) steel.
  • Sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted.

Mechanical Removable Gooseneck includes:

  • Single king pin location.
  • 51″ Fifth Wheel height.
  • Air operated deck locking pin.
  • Constructed from 100,000 P.S.I. yield (T-1) steel.
  • Sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted.

  • Flag holders.
  • Lashing rings.
  • Sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted.

  • D-Rings: Flat or Bent
  • Extendable Deck from 29’6” to 47’

Rear Bridge includes:

  • 55″ Axle spreads. (Depending on territory)
  • Constructed from 100,000 P.S.I. yield (T-1) steel.
  • Truck-Lite LED system.
  • Flag holders.
  • Tires: 255/70R 22.5.
  • Wheels: 22.5 x 8.25, Steel wheels inside and outside.
  • Brakes: Drum
  • Tandem Axle:  25,000 lbs. capacity each.
  • Suspension: Hendrickson Turner or Ridewell, 25,000 lbs. capacity.
  • Sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted.
